Writing & Stories

Our stories matter.

We are all storytellers.

The human brain is a narrative-making machine. It takes data and chains it together into a story to help us learn.  Our identities are built on layer upon layer of story making.

Stories have the power to make us laugh, cry, and feel deeply. They bring out joy, delight, and wonder. They accompany grief, sorrow, and melancholy.

Rewrite your story.

The narratives we absorb and those we consciously and unconsciously construct can hold us back or propel us forward. They can perpetuate our woundedness, or heal and restore us.

Through learning to recognize our stories, we are given a chance to rewrite them. In shaping and sharing our stories, we build connection, find continuity, and hear the quiet whispers that lead us to more meaningful lives .

My story work

Hearing and telling others our stories opens up possibilities for change.

I make space for others to tell and think about their stories through coaching, leading workshops and retreats, and my own writing.

My book, “Enough Feathers to Fly, ” will be published in 2026, It shares stories of eleven years living on my farm. Through these stories of the land and creatures, it also shows my healing journey.

Interviews and examples of live storytelling are on my media page. Past and future workshops and retreats are on my events page.
