Retreats, Workshops, & Talks

Gathering

Whether you lead a team navigating change, belong to a faith community seeking renewal, or simply need to step away from the noise and reconnect with what matters — your work begins in the same place: a willingness to slow down and return to something more essential.

Natalie Gould designs and leads retreats, workshops, and talks for organizations, faith communities, and individuals.

Each experience grows from the same conviction: that people who feel more whole are better able to help others discover their own wholeness.

The Approach

Natalie's work draws on a wide foundation — theater and outdoor education, contemplative spiritual formation, mindfulness practice, cognitive neuroscience, somatic therapies, and a decade of farm life that has taught her more about presence than any classroom.

Her retreats weave together information and formation — the neuroscience that explains why practices work, stories that bring the ideas to life, and the embodied experience of actually doing them. Through storytelling, somatic practices, and creative and reflective experiences, she helps individuals and groups access what they already know but may have lost touch with: their inner compass, their sense of purpose, and their capacity for change.

She is as comfortable working with secular organizations as with faith communities, and brings the same contemplative rigor to both. All perspectives that approach questions of meaning and growth with curiosity and openness are welcome.

Custom Design

Every retreat and workshop is customized for the group. Natalie will work with you to understand your community's needs, design a format and flow that serves them, and create an experience that is both grounded and surprising.

Half-day, full-day, and multi-day formats available. In-person at your location or for small gatherings at Sparrow & Crow Farm in Sonoma County, California.

Let’s explore possibilities together.

What I Offer

Natalie brings this approach to a range of contexts — from leadership teams and organizations to faith communities, small groups, and public talks.

Organizational & Leadership Retreats

Natalie facilitates retreats and workshops for leadership teams, educational institutions, nonprofits, and businesses navigating change. Drawing on 15 years of executive leadership experience and her background in team development and organizational coaching, she designs experiences that go beyond planning and training — restoring the embodied presence and shared sense of purpose that makes good leadership possible.

Her organizational work is grounded in the belief that sustainable performance grows from people who feel well, connected, and clear about what they're working toward together.

Available for: Leadership team retreats · Organizational change facilitation · Staff wellness days · Team development workshops · Executive offsite experiences

Individual Coaching for Leaders & Teams

Natalie also works one-on-one with managers, executives, and professionals navigating career transitions, burnout, communication challenges, or the demands of leadership. Organizations bring Natalie in to work individually with team members as a complement to group retreats or as standalone support.

Areas of focus include stress and nervous system regulation, communication and listening skills, navigating change, and developing a more sustainable and grounded leadership practice.

Retreats & Workshops for Individuals and Small Groups

Natalie designs and leads intimate half-day and full-day retreats for small groups — held at Sparrow & Crow Farm in Sonoma County or at a location of your choosing. These experiences combine somatic practice, journaling, creative exercises, and group storytelling to help participants quiet external noise and reconnect with their inner lives.

Well suited for: women's groups, caregivers, those navigating chronic illness or recovery of any kind, creative communities, nature and wellness groups, writing circles, and anyone in a season of transition or renewal.

Recent example: Cultivating Stillness — a four-hour retreat using somatic, journaling, and creative practices to help participants access the still, small voice within.

Retreats & Workshops for Faith Communities

Natalie designs and leads retreats for parishes, Bible study groups, religious communities, and spiritual formation programs. Rooted in Roman Catholic tradition and conversant in many faith traditions and philosophies, she integrates mindfulness, cognitive neuroscience, and contemplative practice into experiences that speak to both the heart and the mind.

Recent example: Journey From Lent to Pentecost — a morning retreat exploring how times of struggle and suffering can become the compost for new growth. Offered at three faith communities across California in 2026.

Talks & Presentations

Natalie is available for talks related to recovery and transformation, personal development, the intersection of neuroscience and contemplative wisdom, and the power of storytelling. She has spoken at faith communities, storytelling events, and community organizations across California.

Much of what I bring to my work grew from my own journey through difficulty and transformation.
