Journey From Lent to Pentecost:

Transforming our desert experiences into new life

Drawing on biblical stories, St. Francis’ Canticle of the Creatures, and a dramatic reading of a short narrative essay, attendees explore how times of struggle or suffering can be the compost for new growth.

This morning retreat includes simple body-based practices, journaling, guided meditation, and small and large group discussions. Through storytelling and reflection, we'll help one another experience a shift—from feeling stuck or wounded to sensing possibility and God's presence even in difficult seasons.

My hope is that participants leave feeling less alone, carrying both renewed inspiration and practical tools to navigate life's challenges with more ease and openness.

My Approach

When leading spiritual retreats, I draw on my own foundation in Roman Catholicism and knowledge of many faith traditions and philosophies. I have a personal affinity with the mystics and Eastern philosophies, and incorporate mindfulness practices, cognitive neuroscience, and psychological theories into my work. I welcome all attendee perspectives that approach questions of faith and spirituality with curiosity, kindness, and respect.
